Hurricane Society AGM at Tangmere

On Saturday 6th March Wing Commander Peter Ayerst, a patron of the Spitfire Society, accompanied by Val Leggett, was invited to attend the AGM of The Hurricane Society: Peter also happens to be their President.
The meeting was held at the Tangmere Military and Aviation Museum in West Sussex, the present home of the facsimile Spitfire Prototype K5054.
Peter held many impromptu talks whilst walking around the museum exhibits; he did some signing and sold several copies of his books. As is usual on these occasions Peter Ayerst proved to be very popular.
The Hurricane Society is full of enthusiastic supporters, very supportive of each other and full of ideas to promote their Society. They attend many events throughout the year all over the country.
