Wing Commander Peter Ayerst, DFC, who is one of our Patrons, has recently been appointed as President of the Hurricane Society.[see the link www.the-hawker-hurricane-society.com/1.html]
In the year of the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain when we are remembering the times when the Spitfire and the Hurricane fought side by side this appointment heralds closer ties between the two organizations.
