Former ATA pilot Molly Rose, aged 91, has declared a new museum to commemorate the ATA as 'OPERATIONAL'.

The event took place at the Maidenhead Heritage Centre, where the new facility features 75 log books and 3000+ articles associated with the history of the ATA.

Also operational is a Spitfire Simulator, jointly funded by the Central and Eastern Committees of the Leonard Stillwell Bequest, administered by the Spitfire Society.

An official opening of the facility will be carried out by HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Patron of the ATA, in October.
